Hot New Hip Hop reported on comments made by Master P recently in which he revealed the one person he regrets not signing while he had the chance.
As hip-hop fans know, Master P has long been a legend in the rap community and his long list of collaborations and partnerships is a testament to this fact. These days, he has been working in the restaurant industry, the food business, and other entrepreneurial ventures.

He said that he wanted to see “more women win.” The producer stated how some of the biggest artists in the game right now are all female, including stars like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj, and more.

Master P said he was looking for the “baddest women” who can rap. According to the iconic artist, there are a lot of women in the underground scene right now that he thinks will make it big in a massive way. He added that he “respects women” and hopes they continue to crush it.
Additionally, P, also known by his real name, Percy Miller, explained one of his missed opportunities, stating how he just didn’t get it. He claimed it was India Arie. Master P explained how she used to come over to his house and sing without her shoes on and he didn’t understand her vibe.

He says his music was “so hard,” and she told him that she was going to be huge. He went on to describe her as the “one that got away.” Master P said they could’ve done “something incredible,” but unfortunately, it never went down that way.
